The Johnson Level 40-6440 Long Magnetic Locator will sense hidden or buried ferrous metal objects such as P-K masonry nails, Magnails, monument spikes, iron and steel pipe corners, buried barbed wire, etc. The 40-6440 Magnetic Locator will withstand the harshest field conditions and can be used underwater to a depth of 75 feet. It has eight increment settings for sensitivity and a limited lifetime warranty. Its longer length enable the user to keep further away from dangerous items such as metal traps, mines, underground tanks, and unexploded ordnance.

Johnson Level 40-6440 Long Magnetic Locator Features:

  • An audio signaling mode that varies its pitch and a moving coil speaker for boosted audio output.
