Laser Levels USA's Fraud Protection Policy
In order to protect you, our customer, from credit card fraud or identity theft, all orders will be verified before shipping. Normal order verification may take 24 to 48 hours.
We may require one or more of the following in order to protect against identity theft:
A copy of your photo ID emailed to us.
The name and phone number of the bank that issued your credit card.
We may request that the order be shipped to the credit card billing address (the address to which your monthly credit card statement is sent). If this is the case and if you need your order shipped to an alternative address, call the toll-free number on your credit card. Ask the issuer to create an alternate shipping address, which is simply a note on your credit card account, which authorizes purchase to be delivered to a destination other than your billing address.
If we are unable verify the correct information, there will be a considerable delay in the processing of your order. We will notify you by phone or email if that should be the case.
Protecting our customers from credit card fraud or identity theft is our highest objective. We will turn down a sale before letting a suspicious transaction go through!

Fraud Filters
The following are just a few of the Fraud Protection Filters that we utilize to prevent credit card fraud or identity theft:
Enhanced Address Verification Service (AVS) Handling Filter: This filter is designed by bankcard processors to assist in identifying potentially fraudulent credit card transactions. For every credit card authorization, AVS compares the billing address and ZIP code provided by the customer at the time of purchase, to the address and ZIP code on file at the card issuing bank. AVS then returns a response code indicating the results of the comparison.
Enhanced Card Code Verification (CCV) Handling Filter: Card Code Verification (CCV) compares the three- or four-digit card code submitted in a transaction with the card code on file at the card issuing bank. Based on the results of that comparison, the bank returns a CCV response code.
Suspicious Transaction Filter®: The Suspicious Transaction Filter® is an AuthorizeNet proprietary tool developed by their Risk Management team to identify suspicious transactions. Based on a vast knowledgebase of transaction behaviors and fraud detection analysis, the Suspicious Transaction Filter provides enhanced fraud detection for each transaction.
Shipping-Billing Mismatch Filter: This filter allows us to compare the shipping and billing addresses provided by the customer. If the two addresses do not match, the transaction is flagged.
