Laser Line Levels
The Laser Line Levels is generally used for indoor projects typically by those in the construction and cabinetry industries although some models can be used outdoors. The laser leveling line generator projects a level beam 180 degrees horizontally and/or vertically. The beam is either projected as a single line, cross-hair line, or a combination of both onto a wall or other surface. In this way the straight line laser level or cross line laser level combines the spirit level and/or plumb bob with the power of the laser. The straight, level lines cast by a cross line laser level can be used as straightedges from which to work. A laser leveling line having the cross-hair laser projection can be used to square up your work by casting a 90 degree angle.
A straight line laser level is leveled in one of two ways. The Laser Line Level that is leveled manually is done so by means of a centering a bubble in a vial built into the level. These levels are accurate to ½ inch per 20 feet. Self leveling Laser Levels Levels do so by means of a pendulum and magnet built into the unit. Our line generator is more accurate than the manually leveled type.
