Laser Distance Measure

Laser Distance Measure

A Laser Distance Measuring device produces a laser beam and when this beam hits a solid object, it is reflected back to the unit.  A lens in the Laser Distance Measure receives the reflected beam and then it determines distance by the time it takes for the beam to return to the laser measurer. You will also want other laser distance measuring tools to be sure all of your work is precise.

The Laser Distance Measuring device is used for distance, area, and volume measurement.  It can also be used to do indirect measurement of inaccessible or tall objects by using the Pythagorean theorem.

Certain conditions and types of objects will interfere with the proper operation of the laser tape measure.  Highly reflective or sometimes wet objects will not return a detectable beam.  Also, bright sunlight can interfere with the return beam.  Porous or other objects that have poor reflective properties may not return a detectable beam. Don't be caught without your laser tape measure or any other laser distance measuring tools. Take advantage of our low online prices for your laser measurer here at Laser Levels USA.
