AGATEC SmartRod

• The AGATEC SmartRod is a multi-use tool: It is a grade rod, a laser receiver, and a digital laser distance meter.
• It provides a instant digital readout of your measurements from 1 meter up to 4 meters (3.28 feet to 13.12 feet).
• Instantaneously calculates cut and fill and displays it with a digital readout
• Works with any conventional rotary laser

The AGATEC SmartRod is a telescoping grade rod with a laser detector built right into it. This feature does away with the typical calculations essential when using a receiver attached to a standard grade rod. A digital readout can be set to one of three modes including typical elevation readings, cut-and-fill computations, and height and distance measurements (electronic tape measure does not require the use of a laser). Any rotary laser level can provide the reference elevation information for the SmartRod.

• Measuring height or length (electronic tape measure mode)

• The SmartRod's signal reception range is so much greater than a typical laser detector, 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) versus 2.5 inches (6 cm).
• Its Linear Receiving Technology (LRT) enables it to receive the laser beam when the beam only hits a small part of the window rather than requiring the beam to hit directly into the center.
• The SmartRod will locate the beam for you are stand at the bottom of a trech where you can't see the laser.
• The LCD display indicates elevation, measurements, settings, & status of functions.
• Has a selection of unit measurements such as feet/10ths/100ths, feet/inches/16ths, and metric.
• Its "cut and fill" mode indicates the extent that a reading is from a reference point.
