It has an electronically-controlled dual slope feature.
If multiple lasers are being used, an electronic beam shield will turn the laser beam off in one to three quadrants.
Slight movement in the instrument during windy conditions are ignored with the application of the vibrate mode.
An audible and visual alarm triggers when beyond self-leveling range.
The instrument has a reinforced metal roof and a beacon enclosed in glass.
